2. What is your policy on on-site tracking and cookies?
3. Do you use third-party providers?
4. What other technologies or widgets do you use on your website?
5. How do you use my personal information?
6. How does the security of my personal information work?
7. How do I contact Sweet Needle?
When you shop at Sweet Needle, there are different ways we gather information about you:
Personal information about you is gathered from our secure online shopping facility (excluding your payment card data; we do not store your payment details), our online newsletter subscription, our contact us, and competitions/giveaways you enter.
When you place an order or start a product query with us, we ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, delivery address, and contact details. The details we ask for may change. We keep a record of this information. All this is necessary for us to recognise you as a customer in the future and to fulfil the orders you place with us, plus give you the best shopping experience — e.g. get alerted when we have offers or new arrivals.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we retain only your email address to allow us to send you newsletters. At all times you retain the right to unsubscribe, and only share your email address with our email service provider (ESP). We will never share your email address with any other third parties as we are strongly against selling your data.
If you buy or purchase from us, your payment card details are collected by an online payment provider, and at no time are these made available to Sweet Needle. Therefore, we do not hold or store this type of personal information, nor can we access your payment details.
We keep a record of your purchases with us, which means we can deal quickly with any problems you may experience with your order. It also means we can send you details of relevant offers.
We keep a record of any e-mail correspondence you send us, which helps us keep track of any problems or concerns you’ve had with our products or services.
If you enter a Sweet Needle competition/giveaway or other promotional offer, we may ask for your name, address, and email address so we can administer the contest and notify the winners. We may invite you to join our newsletter mailing list. We will always seek permission prior to adding your details to our mailing list.
In addition to selling our products through our own website, we also sell a select number of items through Amazon. As part of this sale process, Amazon will pass over to us some of your personal information, such as your name, delivery address, billing address, and telephone number. We will only ever use this information to process your order and to provide updates on your delivery if you purchased through Amazon.
We also keep a record of our customers’ purchase history of Sweet Needle products they have bought through the Sweet Needle marketplace on Amazon. Amazon are responsible for the delivery service of our products on Amazon.
